Warranty

  1. If no warranty is stated, then the product is sold without warranty. The Buyer accepts full liability for the product.
  2. Warranty covers defective workmanship on reconditioned items and the warranty period will be expressly stated for the product being purchased.
  3. In cases where warranty is given, the warranty becomes void if the product is incorrectly installed or incorrectly used.
  4. In an instance where warranty is offered, duration of warranty will differ, between different products. Liability is limited to the cost of workmanship only.

General Terms

  1. Even though all illustrations, measurements, capacity, weights, prices and other details regarding products included in the Website, are compiled with the greatest possible care, they only constitute an approximation and are purely informative and thus given without obligation.
  2. The Buyer is responsible for the choice of products.
  3. The products are standard items, which are not specifically created for the Buyers needs, or which the Seller, at the Buyers request, adapted to meet the specifications described by the buyer. The Seller is free from any responsibility, should it become apparent that the products do not meet the specific needs of the Buyer, when the products do meet the specifications described by the Buyer.
  4. The purchase price is exclusive of vat, taxes and levies, import or export duty.
  5. The purchase price includes neither charges for delivery or collection of the products.
  6. Payment for purchase is based strictly on a pre payment basis. The purchase price and the costs are only effectively paid from the moment they are actually received by the Seller.
  7. The products are at the risk of the Buyer from time of delivery.
  8. The ownership of the products remains with the Seller until the moment of complete payment of the purchase price and costs.
  9. The Buyer acknowledges that the Seller remains exclusive owner of all intellectual property rights related to the products and the name and logo under which they are sold by the Seller and undertakes to make no claim on them, whatsoever.
  10. Return and Refunds policy – The provision of goods and services by Used Spares is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, MGE Brake Disc will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 25% administration fee.

  12. Customer Privacy policy – Used Spares shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).   13. Payment options accepted – Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.
  14. Card acquiring and security – Card transactions will be acquired for Used Spares via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
  15. Customer details separate from card details – Customer details will be stored by Used Spares separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
  16. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency – The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
  17. Responsibility – Used Spares takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
