ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Universal Trading was founded by the CEO, Mr. Stanley Govender, in January 1994, in Durban, South Africa. The Company started from humble beginnings and experienced phenomenal growth in the early years and moved in the year 2000, to its current premises at 50 Dudley Street, Durban, South Africa. The core business of Universal Trading was supplying of Industrial spare parts within South Africa and across its Borders.
Universal Trading’s sister Company is Marine and General Engineering, which Manufactures Parts and Equipment with the use of CNC Machines, for Earthmoving Equipment OEM and for Automotive, Aviation, Locomotive and Marine Industries as well.
Marine and General Engineering was accredited with the ISO 9001 Quality Standard in 2002 and has gained recognition in South Africa and Globally , for its high quality standards, dependability and efficiency.
Therefore the Company has built a strong reputation for supply of quality used spares and equipment as well as manufactured parts, since 1994.
